Located within University of Lincoln’s Medical School, LinCTU partners in studies that address local, regional, and national health priorities, with a special focus on underserved rural and coastal communities.
LinCTU's commitment to excellence is evident in its comprehensive support for trials, from concept development to publication. Their expertise covers all stages of the research process, from idea development through to publication. The team comprises a diverse group of experts, including clinicians, statisticians, qualitative researchers, IT specialists, sponsor liaison, process evaluation, quality assurance, and systematic review. Leading this dynamic team is Associate Professor Zahid Asghar, Director and Lead Statistician, and Dr. Shihua Zhu, Deputy Director and Lead Health Economist.
Collaboration is a cornerstone of LinCTU's success. They have forged strong partnerships with other Higher Education Institutes and close relationships with providers of care, ensuring that research projects are closely aligned with real-world health and care needs.
